Plan your trip
Asia Automated is on Saturday, 5 December 2026 in Bangkok, the best month of the year to be in Thailand. Here is everything you need to book flights, pick a neighbourhood and build a short itinerary around the summit.
Bangkok has two international airports. Suvarnabhumi (BKK) handles most long-haul and full-service carriers; Don Mueang (DMK) serves low-cost airlines such as AirAsia, Thai Lion and Nok Air. From BKK, the Airport Rail Link reaches Phaya Thai in about 26 minutes; a Grab to Sukhumvit takes 40–60 minutes depending on traffic.
December is high season. Book flights and hotels at least eight weeks out, fares climb sharply from mid-November, and the first week of December includes a Thai public holiday weekend.
Pick the neighbourhood first, then the hotel. Anything on the BTS or MRT keeps you within twenty minutes of the summit venue.
